"Out love, out live, and out fruit."

How should you and your church respond to critics? Perry Noble has some experience with the subject and some wisdom to share.

Wow, this guys is arrogant. Since when does questioning = fighting? I'm sure there are some contentious people out there but lots of people have genuine and sincere questions and criticisms. Writing them off or wanting to beat them up doesn't solve the problem.

And saying that if his ministry is off-base God will destroy it is not supported by Biblical evidence or history. Sounds like he just doesn't like people to disagree with him.

gimme a break.

You're breaking out Noble again?

slow day...

ministry and criticism go togather like peanut-butter and jelly. don't be so thin skinned.

This is wisdom? Gimme a break!

some people see the devil behind every bush. some see bloggers. Some can't tell the difference.

I used to get upset seeing Perry. Now I just have compassion for the guy and chuckle to myself.

Dictionary.com offers a definition of Noble that applies here: "Noble implies a loftiness of character or spirit that scorns the petty, mean, base, or dishonorable ... of an exalted moral or mental character or excellence"

See nobility here?

Its interesting, this type of stuffs are needed for todays minds who are not at all working, who are so mean, so selfish to let them know how it has to work. Thanks for sharing it with us it good one, Would like to know more.

At least we know now why Tony Morgan isn't there anymore.....oops!

I like that he took the time to "coach" his folks not to fight these battles, but didn't he through his own example end up defending himself while "not defending" himself? Couldn't he have just said "we won't do it, we don't tolerate it" without fostering the heart behind it?

And what's with all the "us and them"? Isn't our battle against principalities and powers? Seems like there are a lot of human fights happening (not just here, but everywhere).

Lastly, and sadly, I've never heard this guy preach the Gospel profoundly, I've only seen controversial clips that display his personality. I'm not saying (or implying) that he doesn't--I don't know--but why is this the case? What is so edifying about personality controversies? Where is the excellent preaching, teaching, or leading? Or are we all just too bored with it?

This is the response of the "critic" that he's referring to.

Thought this could use some context.

Until the complaints against Perry Noble and his staff are sufficiently resolved, please don't hold him up as a model of pastoral behavior, especially in response to critics. The accusations are severe and appear well-founded.
