Ur Video: President Obama on the Resurrection

Christian leaders gather for the White House Easter Prayer Breakfast.

Yesterday President Obama hosted the 2nd annual Easter Prayer Breakfast at the White House. Here's a video with his remarks, and how the resurrection puts things in perspective.

In attendance were Tim Keller, Louie Giglio, Gabe Lyons, Kevin Palau, T.D. Jakes, Joel Hunter, Andy Stanley, Leith Anderson, and others. Read Sarah Pulliam Bailey's full report on the CT Politics blog.

Ho hum prayer breakfast.

Might as well call it, "Breakfast in the Echo Chamber."

What I want to see is the President of the United States, regardless of party, explain in exasperating detail why Christians should vote for them...and then give an account of their policy decisions.
Now that...that would be a fantastic discussion to follow.

Yes, it would be exasperating to hear the typical politician trying explain the unnecessary and brutal wars, the proxy (and otherwise) torture of detainees, the treatment of whistle blower Bradley Manning, the continued development and manufacture of nuclear weapons of indiscriminate mass death and terror, etc., etc.
The Pastors who attend these 'Prayer' events do us (and Obama) no good by therefore legitimizing tyranny.

Therefore the Lord said:

“ Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths
And honor Me with their lips,
But have removed their hearts far from Me,
And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, (Isaiah 29:13)
