I wish I could say that I would do the same in his position, but my weak spot are the people around me...
me, m'yeh, doesn't matter what happens to me, but the ones I care about...No coffee, no table, no mulling...just "hello? Oh, we're going to die if I don't get out of town...family, we are so outta here!"
I'd pack em, load em, and haul em out of there in the blink of an eye.
